This is a title sequence design for the podcast 「 This American Life」 episode 「Mind Games」. 

In this episode, deceptions and manipulations stir up turbulence in people’s lives and leave unsettling remains.

I try to catch that weird, dream-like feeling by using an exploded kaleidoscope effect.

It all starts with a simple photo where everything is normal. Then, a chaotic kaleidoscope reveals slices of montage images from the podcast that drag us in the crosshairs of the predator’s eyes. Although they die quickly away with the light, the uncanny feeling is still around the viewer.

After a round of mind games, the reality is never the same.
